Anna Hunter

Anna is a specialist family lawyer advising clients on all issues arising on relationship breakdown. Her work covers financial issues arising from divorce or separation and children’s arrangements.

Anna is also a trained collaborative lawyer offering clients an alternative way of reaching solutions and agreements upon relationship breakdown. Anna is particularly interested in alternative methods of dispute resolution and has built an excellent reputation for her collaborative work. Her skills ensure she is able to take a practical and sensitive approach to the most difficult of cases. She has a calm and approachable manner and remains child-focussed where relevant.  She regularly receives referrals and recommendations from fellow professionals and clients.

No case is the same and Anna believes firmly that each case must be tailored to meet the needs of that particular client. Whilst Anna takes a non-adversarial approach she is also has considerable experience litigating within the court system and recognises that some cases require court intervention. Anna ensures that all options are given to her clients at the outset, firmly believing in client choice.

Anna is a member of Resolution and sits on the Marketing Committee for the North East Collaborative POD. She regularly writes articles for the local press on legal and other matters. She is married with two children.
