Anna joined Major Family Law shortly after its inception in 2009 and was appointed a Director in 2014.
Anna is a well-respected and experienced solicitor dealing with all areas of family law including divorce, finances, cohabitation and children issues.
Anna enjoys a varied caseload. Her financial matters cover complex cases frequently involving substantial assets, business and commercial issues and high value pensions, whilst her children work covers all aspects relating to the arrangements for children following relationship breakdown, with particular expertise in dealing with cases where there is a high level of conflict, relocation cases both within the UK and abroad, and cases with an international element such as jurisdiction disputes.
Anna is described in Chambers as “an objective, knowledgeable and hardworking solicitor who is plainly dedicated to achieving the best she can for her clients’”. Anna is skilled negotiator and is able to offer a range of solutions to help her clients resolve matters. She is sensitive to the needs of each client, recognising that “one size doesn’t fit all” and as a member of Resolution and a trained collaborative lawyer she is able to offer an alternative method of dispute resolution for those clients who wish to avoid the court process.
Outside of work
Anna is married with two teenage children. When she is not acting as a taxi service Anna enjoys walking in the Northumberland countryside, reading, cooking and travelling to explore new places whenever possible.
