Since qualifying in 2000, Lucinda has practised exclusively in family law and is a member of the Law Society’s Family Panel. Lucinda became a Director with Major Family Law in January 2018.
With extensive experience in all aspects of divorce and relationship breakdown, Lucinda regularly represents clients in cases where assets or income are substantial and in complex cases involving prevention of disposal of assets and enforcement proceedings.
She also remains keen to maintain her interest and extensive experience in children cases, particularly those involving international elements. Lucinda has been involved in a number of relocation and child abduction cases involving other jurisdictions such as France, Greece, Italy, Northern Ireland and Australia.
An accomplished advocate, she has significant experience in undertaking advocacy at Court, but also understands how stressful and unpleasant an experience going to Court can be.
Lucinda therefore approaches cases in a non-adversarial manner wherever possible to achieve successful resolutions for clients through skilled negotiations.
Lucinda has been involved in very difficult cases concerning domestic and child abuse and has assisted many family members dealing with Social Services interventions.
