Role at Major Family Law

After completing her First Class Law Degree, Louise worked in both criminal appeals and clinical negligence before joining Major Family Law in November 2022 to further her experience in family law— a practice area that quickly became her professional focus.

Louise initially joined the firm as a Legal Assistant, where she discovered her passion for supporting clients through sensitive and often challenging circumstances. She prides herself on building strong, trusting relationships and ensuring clients feel reassured and informed from the very beginning of their case.

As her experience and technical knowledge developed, Louise naturally progressed into the role of Paralegal, taking on greater responsibility in actively progressing matters across the firm. She has assisted on a wide range of cases, including highly complex family law matters, and has become a valued and trusted point of contact for both clients and colleagues.

Louise is now a Senior Paralegal, supervising a growing team while continuing to support the firm’s solicitors and wider practice. With her strong academic foundation and hands-on experience, she remains open to pursuing formal solicitor qualification in the future, while continuing to excel in a role she is incredibly passionate about.

Outside the office

Outside of work, Louise is devoted to family life with her two children. She enjoys nothing more than being in the great outdoors.
