With the end of the financial year on 30 September, the practice was delighted to announce its most successful performance to date with a 1/3 increase in turnover on the previous year, reflecting the attitude of individuals that Major Family Law is the go-to practice for family law advice.
Always at the forefront of innovative client service and care, Major Family Law were the first practice in the North East to offer clients the support of an independent family and relationship consultant; a service designed to assist clients deal with their relationship breakdown and to cope with their changed circumstances in a positive and healing manner.
The earlier part of the year saw a major expansion project of the business premises undertaken to accommodate increased staff numbers and to offer more dedicated private meeting rooms for clients’ comfort and convenience.
More significantly, Major Family Law has invested strongly in its personnel in recent times to continue to ensure clients are offered the very highest level of expert service. In recognition of her service to the practice, her professional reputation and popularity with clients for her compassion and expertise, senior solicitor Anna Hunter has been appointed a director of Major Family Law, with effect from 1st October. In addition, the practice was delighted to welcome Jonathan Dunkley in June, who joined the firm as a consultant after almost 30 years as a partner at commercial firm, Muckle LLP.
