Major Family Law, the leading niche family law practice in the Northeast, is delighted to announce staff promotions and another appointment to its fast-growing, award-winning team. In the past 12 months the firm has grown its team with the appointment of five specialist family lawyers, a family law executive, and a paralegal alongside the internal promotion of three lawyers to more senior roles. The 31-strong team now have 22 specialist family law fee earners working alongside supporting staff to meet the needs of our clients.
The newest appointment to the team is solicitor Carly Hope. Carly joins from a leading firm in Newcastle city centre. There are also two very significant promotions: on 1st November Sam Carter becomes Legal Director and Stacy Williams an Associate.
Sam joined Major Family Law in April 2017 and became a specialist in children law work. He is named as a ‘Rising Star’ by the Legal 500 and as an ‘Associate to Watch’ by Chambers & Partners.
Stacy joined Major Family Law in September 2021. She had her debut ‘Key Lawyer’ listing in this year’s Legal 500, with clients commenting on her excellence, empathy, and responsiveness.
