Newcastle’s Top Divorce and Family Law Specialists comment in the Tyne Valley Express

Not one for sitting around, Joanne Major and her legal team at Major Family Law are gearing up to join local runners for a 5km fun run along a scenic route of the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside in support of The Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund.

The charity provides specialised equipment to children with disabilities in the North East of England, and individuals, groups, registered organisations, special and mainstream schools and hospitals can ask for their support to improve the lives of children with disabilities.

The Sunshine Run is an annual event which encourages runners of all levels to take part. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday 26th June at 7pm and promises to be extremely well supported by local individuals and businesses.

This is the first time that Major Family Law have been involved, and they are delighted by the support received for the team by way of sponsorship. Donating in support of any or all of the MFL runners is made easy by being able to give through the Major Family Law Just Giving Page at www.justgiving.com/Major-Family-Law The team have already surpassed their initial ambitious fund raising target, but are keen to raise as much as possible for this worthy local charity, and the link will remain open for donations after the event.

Supporters’ generosity has been overwhelming, but perhaps the most original donation so far is one that could not be registered via Just Giving, though: Lanchester Dairies, with whom Major Family Law have an established relationship thanks to a unique advertising campaign on the dairy’s milk bottles, have offered to donate some of their delicious Bill n Geoff’s real dairy ice cream to The Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund to delight the junior beneficiaries of the charity, although runners may be hoping to be greeted at the finish line by a Bill n Geoff’s ice cream for their efforts!

If you happen to be on the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside on Wednesday evening, look out for the Major Family Law team who will be sporting visors in the company colour (purple), but if you can’t be there, please do consider supporting an extremely worthy cause by donating whatever you can via the Just Giving Page.
