Major Family Law Manager Joanne Major continues her reflections on 2019
As our 10th anniversary year draws to a close, I have been taking a look back at some of the year’s highlights. One was undoubtedly maintaining our ranking in influential legal directory the Legal 500.
This international publication is designed to help prospective clients locate the best legal firms in their area or required specialism before instructing them.
Our ranking paints a compelling picture for potential clients. We offer a “dedicated and thorough service to clients with family law problems”. I am cited as “imperturbable” while our two directors Anna and Lucinda are said to be “tenacious and a “skilled advocate” respectively.
We were able to assemble a gratifyingly lengthy list of client testimonials to strengthen our listing. These include:

Thanks to our very talented team of 22, we now enjoy a dominant share of the north east family law market, annual turnover in excess of £1 million and double digit growth. But there’s no doubt in my mind that solid third party endorsements like that of the Legal 500 are a significant new business driver in their own right.
