Rebecca Tarn, leading female family lawyer with Major Family Law, Newcastle’s best family law firm, comments on 11th June 2015 the NECC hosted its second annual business showcase; an exciting networking opportunity for local businesses to promote their services and exchange ideas and inspiration.
The event, which took place at Northumbria University, was attended by more than 90 North East businesses and attracted hundreds of visitors eager to see what the North East business community has to offer.
The showcase was an incredible example of face-to-face networking at its best and the team at Major Family Law were thrilled to make so many new and exciting connections. The power of people was clear from the Guinness World Record established by attendees for creating the largest human currency symbol in the form of a huge pound “£” representing a sign of the growing North East economy. It was also a great reminder of the power of social media, as demonstrated by the winner of our twitter competition, Jamie Hayhurst of GEM commercial, who sent his first ever tweet to enter our prize draw and won a beautiful bouquet of flowers courtesy of Katherine’s Florists!
